Deadline for Contract Proposals: To be received no later than 2:00 PM, March 31st April 21, 2006

Funding is available for two field seasons: May 2006 - October 2006; and November 2006 - October 2007. You may submit a proposal for one or both field seasons, however your proposal must estimate the amount of work to be completed by the end of each field season. Please don’t bid more than you can complete.

Proposals will be evaluated on the quality of the proposal, ability to deliver assistance in a professional and cost-effective manner, contractor’s qualifications, anticipated need in the targeted service area, potential to service landowners with listed species, and geographical distribution of service providers (i.e. we want to have providers available throughout the prairies regions of the state, rather than have several in one area and none in another.)

Announcements of successful contract proposals will occur on or about April 15, 2006. Successful applicants can begin immediately after signing and returning a completed contract (this may take approximately 1 month to process). All funds will be distributed through contracts and agreements. Payment will be made as measurable achievements described in the ‘Deliverables and Rates’ section are accomplished.
